He looks up from His cradle
Do you know of My faith?
He grows to be a carpenter
Have you found a job,yet?
He walks the streets of the universe
Have your shoes brought you home, yet?
He needed only twelve
Are you His thirteenth?
The wood of the cross, crossed His Heart
Are you still killing His creatiions?
I heard He asked, why!!
His answers are our beacons!

The Poetry Explosion Newsletter (The PEN) is issued quarterly (January, April, July and October). The July issue is dedicated to Romantic poetry; October features Holiday poetry)
We publish poems and prose pertaining to all subjects (love, holidays, current events) and in any form (sonnets, haiku, rhyme, free and blank verse,etc.) Simultaneous and pre-published submissions are accepted; bio-sketches are optional.
We do not pay publication fees, but will send you a free copy of the issue in which your accepted submission appears.
Send us your best!!! All submissions should be typed and “camera ready”. Each submission may include a maximum of five (5) works, and include a LASE with the correct postage if you would like us to return any unaccepted materials. Email submissions(in the body of message) are also accepted; please include your physical mailing address to receive your free copy.
USA Subscriptions: One (1) year for 25.00 USD or 48.00 USD for two (2) years. Samples are 4 USD.
Outside-US & CANADA Subscriptions: One (1) year for 35.00 USD or 68.00 USD for two (2) years. Samples are 8 USD.
